Expectations for Handcrafted Wooden Speakers

Our speakers are built by Maryland artisans who care deeply about sound and the natural beauty of real wood. These aren’t mass-produced, high-gloss clones—each pair is a one-of-a-kind creation.

What makes ours different

  • Real hardwood, not just skin-deep. We use genuine pieces of hardwood, chosen for figure and character.

  • Unique by design. Grain, color, and small variations are part of the charm. You may see subtle irregularities that reflect hand craftsmanship—not defects.

About wood movement

  • Solid wood is naturally responsive to humidity and temperature.

  • With seasonal changes, you may notice minor movement (typically under ~1 mm) at joints. This is normal and accounted for in our designs.

Care & placement

  • Keep speakers at normal indoor conditions—aim for roughly 35–55% relative humidity and typical room temperatures.

  • Avoid extremes: wood stoves/fireplaces, radiators, HVAC vents, direct sun, or damp garages/basements.

  • Use stable stands or surfaces and allow a day or two to acclimate after delivery.

Finish & aesthetics

  • We prioritize a natural, tactile finish that celebrates the wood’s character over mirror-polished perfection.

  • If you want flawless, machine-polished sameness, our speakers may not be the right fit.

  • If you want beautiful, natural, hand-crafted speakers that sound awesome—then giddy up!

Pre-Shipment Photos

Before we ship, we’ll email photos of your actual speakers.

  • If something doesn’t look right, call us—we’ll talk it through and figure out the best path (adjustments, a different pair, or pausing the order).

30-Day Home Trial & Returns

We believe the best way to evaluate speakers is in your own room, with your gear and your music. To make that easy, we offer a straightforward home trial.

What’s included

  • 30-day window starting the day your speakers are delivered.

  • Full refund of the product price if you’re not thrilled. (Original and return shipping costs are not refundable.)

How to start a return

  1. Contact us within 30 days of delivery for an RMA number and instructions.

  2. Repack the speakers using the original packaging (please save it until you’re sure you’re keeping them).

  3. Ship them back prepaid and insured using the carrier of your choice. You are responsible for return shipping.

Condition for refund

  • Speakers must arrive in like-new condition with all accessories and packaging.

  • Normal light use is fine; damage, missing items, or heavy wear may reduce or void the refund.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of our inspection.

Damaged or incorrect shipment

  • If something shows up damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can make it right.
